The You Can If I Can Initiative features young professionals between the ages of 25 and 35 sharing their true life stories, with emphasis on their challenges and struggles, as a way of inspiring Junior High School students. In addition to this, there is a session where qualified health professionals educate students on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health, Mental health, as well as other areas of interest such as substance abuse and other forms of addiction.
In collaboration with Hon. Samuel Awuku, Member of Parliament for Akuapem North Constituency, the programme engaged 300 JHS students from 8 Junior High Schools within the constituency.
The schools that participated in the event included PCE Demonstration JHS, Mamfe Presby JHS, Nana Ankobea Takyewaa School, Saforo MA JHS, Kwamoso Presby JHS, Yensisu Methodist JHS, Korkorm MA JHS, and Mampong Nkwanta JHS. Students were also given copies of the Five by Five Book to reinforce the lessons from the discussions and serve as a resource for their libraries.
